Health/Wellness Event & 2nd Qtr Company Meeting
Rose Construction held its 2nd Quarter All Employee Meeting/Health & Wellness Event on July 19 at the First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center in Covington, TN. Employees were invited to visit booths featuring different vendors from the local area to receive health and wellness information along with entry into prize drawings. Companies that were included in these booths were Lipscomb & Pitts, CIGNA, Beasley Chiropractic, Methodist Healthcare, and ATC Fitness. We also had a booth featuring Rose Construction’s community service opportunities and a table with shirts and other company logo items available for all employees.
It was an opportunity to provide a business and safety update, review our annual benefits renewal package, and roll out our new Health & Wellness Incentive Program that will begin in August. In addition, we reviewed our company’s vision and mission statement, specifically highlighting the section in which we carry on “the tradition of our company history and family values which encourages each on our team to become all that they can socially, economically, and spiritually.”
We also featured a delicious lunch of Honeybaked Ham sandwiches, chips, fresh fruit, and vegetables. During our meal we listened to our guest speaker from Cigna Healthcare give advice on healthy living. After our meal was finished we had our prize drawings which included: two annual memberships to ATC Fitness Center, a Fitbit Versa, Walmart gift cards, and Visa gift cards.
Our 2nd Quarter Employee Meeting & Health & Wellness event was a great success!
